Soft Yin Yoga and gentle movement
Service Description
The classes consist of traditional Yin yoga - opening poses held for two to five minutes - and a gentle, body-warming Soft Flow sequence. The slow-paced Yin & Soft Flow classes focus on long, deep, and relaxing stretches. In Yin poses, the goal is not to reach the deepest possible stretch; instead, as the muscles relax, the stretch targets tendons, joints, fascia, and even the bones, creating more lasting and deeper change. Yin yoga has been scientifically shown to significantly improve deep sleep quality and calm the parasympathetic nervous system, helping to relieve both conscious and unconscious stress. Each class ends with a long guided final relaxation, which is not only a meditative practice but also a physically essential part of the Yin yoga session.
