RE:SONANCE is a DJ-led sound meditation experience focused on deep listening to music and full-body relaxation. During the session, guests are invited to lie down and be immersed in body tingling soundscapes and simple grounding techniques. No previous experience needed. Soft surfaces and pillows provided, just bring comfortable clothes with you. Hosted by DJ Essi Eirene. Through movement, we become curious about the body's natural cycles, without any need to change or fix anything. At the same time, we cultivate sensitivity to the movement, vitality, and subtle sensations that exist even in stillness. In the body, just as in nature and within every cell, life is in constant motion. This practice invites you to listen to your body's own rhythm and to trust its innate wisdom. No previous experience needed. The class is part of Tyyni installation at Öljysäiliö 468 with Spacetime. Tyyni is set among sand dunes and draws on mountain meditation, at whose core lies ever-changing weather. The installation's sandstorm and the dune's stillness serve as a metaphor for shifting emotions and thoughts: they intensify, then subside. The sandstorm shapes the dune's surface, breaking and battering it, but the dune always returns to stillness, as if nothing had ever happened. An emotional storm works the same way. Drawn from the expansive architecture of Öljysäiliö 468, the exhibition explores the effect of space on thought. It is grounded in the idea of the cathedral effect, which holds that tall, open spaces support freer, more abstract thinking. Together with Spacetime Helsinki and Mellow Agency.
