Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra for the Nervous System

20 euros
Korkeavuorenkatu

Service Description

This week's Sunday Church invites you to slow down and rest deeply through the combined practice of Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra: two complementary paths toward nervous system regulation and inner calm. The nervous system is the body’s inner compass — constantly sensing, interpreting, and responding to the world around us. It shapes how we breathe, move, feel, and think. When life moves fast, this inner network can become overstimulated, keeping us in cycles of tension, fatigue, or restlessness. Learning to understand and regulate the nervous system allows the body to return to its natural state of safety and balance. Yin Yoga gently opens the body’s connective tissues through stillness and sustained postures, creating space for release and grounding. Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) then guides you into a state between wakefulness and rest, where the mind quiets and the body’s innate capacity to restore can unfold. Together, these practices support the transition from doing to being — from effort to ease. A two-hour immersion in softness, silence, and awareness.
